What a big boy!

Ethan's official 4 month appointment isn't until November 19th (even though he'll be 5 months). His doctor was on vacation the entire month of October, but since I work at the same office we went ahead and got his vaccines on time last week. We did have to take him in on Thursday because he has this ugly rash in his neck fold. We finally got to see how much he weighs! Are you ready for it!? At 4.5 months he weighs 18 lbs 7 oz!! I knew he weighed a lot, but even I was surprised by that number! He is not a roly poly baby though because he is 27.5 inches long! He is way off the charts for both height and weight. He is following in his daddy's footsteps! He is such a wonderful, happy baby. We are so very very blessed!

Ethan had his first full night away from us this weekend. Grandma & Grandpa really wanted to babysit overnight & even though I was a little apprehensive, I agreed. C & I had such a wonderful date night! We went out for mexican food, then rented a movie & made margaritas! I would love to say I had a wonderful nights sleep, but I woke up in the middle of the night & missed my baby boy! I had a hard time going back to sleep. Ethan is such a good sleeper anyways (at least 11-12 hours a night) so I have nothing to complain about:) The really great part was that I was able to clean the house & do laundry yesterday morning before he came home. It is amazing how quickly I got things accomplished! We are finally getting settled into our new place & finished putting together our bookcase and dining set today. It finally looks like a home! :)

4 months!

Ethan turned 4 months yesterday! Time is going by so quickly, I can't believe he is 4 months already! Here are a couple of pictures from our "photo shoot"

Things I don't want to forget...

He eats 6oz of Nutramigen formula 5-6 times a day.

He sleeps 11-12 hours a night, and has been for awhile now.

He finally started lifting his head up while on his tummy & is getting stronger everyday!

He rolled over for the first time!

He weighs about 17 pounds (not exactly sure, will hopefully find out Friday the 22nd)

He is almost 27 inches long!

He talks & babbles constantly!

He has learned to squeal and we love it!

I think he loves the sound of his voice!

He is such a happy baby, always smiling at people.

We just bought an exercauser and so far he likes it. I think he will like it more when he is a little more stable!

We love you Ethan Dale!!!
